Its not even a regular like frame drop due to the extra resolution. Id understand if it was a few frames but it goes from great fps to unplayable. Hi guys Not

I play in windowed mode on an ultrawide screen and put my WoW window on the right side. I do the same for pretty much every other Blizzard game. While the other games open in the same position I left them in, WoW always opens in the dead center of the screen, so I have to reposition it every time. It does remember window size and setting (i.e. it doesn’t switch to fullscreen or anything), so
i just play with 1 wow game, but since win10, when i tab out of the game (i.e. to desktop) and tab back into the game, the game is set to exactly 30 fps. i have to tab in/out a few times (mostly 1-3) until the game "snaps" the normal fps (in my case somewhere between 75 and 96). this happens since the anniversary update of windows 10 on all my computers. and the 30 fps are real "30 fps" and

Jan 12, 2022 · If you put wow into windowed mode, set the approximate resolution, and expand out the size as you need to fit half of your screen, while keeping your browser at the size it needs to be on the other side…. On the character screen and also in the game, mostly in characters tab, black/flickering hair etc. I have Geforce GTX 1070 Ti with latest drivers 445.87. You need to know this is happening only with DX12 settings, swiching back to DX11 fix the problem. Azula-argent-dawn. Same issues here. I have a RTX 2070 Super.
Mar 31, 2014 · The reason I believe it is applied to everything is because it is a global 3d setting. When I turned it on my monitor went black for a few seconds, then came back on. Global 3D setting does not mean applies to everything. Global 3D setting means it'll be the default, or user-set default, for each and every application.
There's an option under sounds that says something like, 'play sounds when WoW is in background'. It works when I play in windowed mode. Not sure about tabbing out. JUst go to your Sound options and check the box that says "Sound in Background." It will play all the normal sounds even when minimized or alt-tabbed.

Jun 5, 2020 · When i switch to windowed mode everything’s fine but I prefer Windowed Fullscreen. I’ve tried renaming my Cache, WTF, and Interface folder but that doesn’t help. I remove all my add-ons and it doesn’t work. I tried doing the Scan/Repair option in the Battle.net window and that doesn’t work either.

To resolve this, please follow these steps : Select Warcraft III on the Battle.net app. Next to the PLAY button, click Options and select Game Settings. Under the Warcraft III section check the box for "Additional command line arguments". In the new box type in: -windowmode windowed. Click Done.
